Grow a garden of living stones with our Lithops Mix Seeds! These fascinating plants are a must-have for the succulent enthusiast or collector of odd and unique plants. Lithops mimic the appearance of pebbles and stones — nature's ultimate camouflage!
Instructions:
These seeds grow slowly, so we recommend using the following to sow the seeds:
- 12 Cavity Mini Greenhouse with soil pellets
- Coconut Fiber Soil Pellets
- Liquid Fertilizer (for early seedling stage only)
Prep moist, well-draining medium consisting of a mix of potting mix and perlite, and plant the seeds on the surface. Cover the seeds lightly with sand and keep the medium moist until germination by covering the planter with a plastic cover (zip-lock bag, plastic wrap, or lid). Keep seeds at 70–80°F in a well-lit spot. Most should sprout within 12 weeks; some may germinate within just a couple of weeks under ideal conditions.
Keep soil moist but not soggy. As seedlings mature, allow the soil to dry out more between waterings. Lithops go dormant in summer — avoid watering during this period and keep them in very bright light.
These seeds are for the 2026 growing season.
